About

The Rotary Club of Taveuni Island, in association with the Rotary Club of Newmarket (NZ) and the Rotary Club of Boronia (Australia), the Rotary Foundation and other Rotary Clubs throughout the world are proud to be associated with this world class project.

You can help. The 2019 project was fully funded, and we are forever grateful for the contributions to the Taveuni Eye Project from around the world. The 2023 project has been pared down to allow for the lower-than-expected donations. This means that many Fijians who live on Viti Levu will not be able to take part.

Because our medical team are all volunteers and because the members of the local Taveuni Rotary club give freely of their time, the project total cost is surprisingly modest. With special thanks to our wonderful sponsors, shown below:

The last year eye project was held was in 2020. Covid had not made it possible to continue our yearly clinics but that is all about to change as we head into the 2023 program.

To help fund the next year’s eye surgery you can contribute and make an enormous difference to those that have rather less in life than you do. Would you like more information? Can your Rotary club make even the most modest of contributions? Please fill in this form
